THE ASSOCIATION WAS FORMED TO PRODUCE AND PRESENT THE BUTTE COUNTY FAIR TO OVER 18,000 FAIRGOERS AND TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE COUNTY OF BUTTES ECONOMY EACH YEAR.

THE SPECIFIC PURPOSE OF THIS CORPORATION IS THE RECEIVING OF DONATED MATERIALS RE-DISTRIBUTING THEM.

THIS CORPORATION IS OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE EDUCATIONAL BENEFIT OF THE STUDENTS IN THE GRIDLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT. SUCH BENEFITS SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO (1) FURTHERING EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE SCHOOLS, (2) ACQUIRING AND IMPROVING FACILITIES, (3) SOLICITING, RAISING, AND ADMINISTERING FUNDS FOR THE SUPPORT OF EDUCATION, (4) IMPROVING INSTRUCTIONAL DELIVERY SYSTEMS, (5) ENCOURAGING COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAMS, AND (6) INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, GRANTING SCHOLARSHIPS TO GUSD GRADUATES FOR COLLEGE AND VOCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AND (7) OTHER INNOVATIVE PRACTICES DESIGNED TO ENHANCE EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES WITHIN THE GRIDLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT.
