MISSION:

ESTABLISHED IN 2014, ONCOLOGY SUPPORTIVE SERVICES IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING SUPPORT SERVICES TO CANCER PATIENTS IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS. THIS WILL HELP EASE THE BURDEN FOR PATIENTS WHO COULD NOT OTHERWISE AFFORD SUCH SERVICES. WE ARE HERE TO PROVIDE CARE, COMPASSION, AND CONSISTENCY WITH A HOLISTIC APPROACH FOR CANCER PATIENTS IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS COMMUNITY.OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS THAT WILL OFFER SUPPORT AND HOPE TO CANCER PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES THROUGH:CENTERING CARE AROUND PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES, IMPROVING CANCER PATIENTS QUALITY OF LIFE, ADVOCATING FOR A HEALTHIER COMMUNITY, AND ENCOURAGING A HOLISTIC APPROACH TO CANCER CARE.

The goal of this organization is to raise and distribute funds for multiple organizations within the Voluntary Health Associations and Medical Disciplines major group area.

The goal of this organization is to operate societies, professional councils, and other organizations that bring together individuals or organizations with a common professional or vocational interest within the Medical Research major group area.

The goal of this organization is to enable students who demonstrate financial need to obtain the financial assistance they require to meet their educational and living expenses while in school.

MISSION:

CHRISTIAN COUNSELING/THERAPY WAS PROVIDED TO APPROXIMATELY 219 CLIENTS IN 1,908 THERAPY SESSIONS. DISCOUNTS OF $47,261 WERE PROVIDED TO THE CLIENTS BY THE SAMARITAN FUND DONATIONS.DUE TO THE COVID PANDEMIC, FACE TO FACE CLIENT SESSIONS DECREASED. ALTERNATE WAYS OF MEETING WITH CLIENTS WAS IMPLEMENTED.RESEARCH WAS DONE ON THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF COUPLES IN THE COMMUNITIES OF OUR SERVICE AREA AND OUR CAPACITY TO PROVIDE MARRIAGE EDUCATION AND PREPARATION WAS INCREASED. CLASSES WERE ALSO PROVIDED FOR ANGER MANAGEMENT ISSUES WITH OUR AREA COURT JUDGES AND ATTORNEYS MAKING REFERRALS FOR THESE CLASSES.RESEARCH WAS DONE ON THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF SINGLE PARENT/PARENTING SEPARATELY FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITIES OF OUR SERVICE AREA AND OUR CAPACITY TO PROVIDE PARENTING EDUCATION WAS INCREASED. CLASSES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED TO HELP FAMILIES WITH THESE ISSUES.EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN RESEARCHED AND IMPLEMENTED; SEVERAL AREA BUSINESSES ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THESE PROGRAMS WITH MORE SEMINARS BEI

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

THE ORGANIZATION WILL SEEK TO BUILD GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOR A LEGISLATIVE AND POLICY CLIMATE GEARED TOWARD SOLVING PROBLEMS AT HOME IN ARKANSAS THROUGH ISSUE RESEARCH, COMMUNICATIONS, EVENTS, AND OUTREACH.

Instruction focuses on phonics, dictionary skills, vocabulary development, spelling and study skills, comprehension and memory skills.

The goal of this organization is to focus on the development and improvement of food resources or food procurement through information and technical assistance for agricultural establishments and individuals in rural or urban settings.

The goal of this organization is to are responsible for the control and extinction of fires; and the inspection of buildings, hillside property and industrial plants to ensure compliance with fire codes.
