MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people to learn and become competitive in swimming, diving, snorkeling, surfing, water skiing, water polo, boating, white water rafting and other water sports. Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.

TO SUPPORT AND ENHANCE NANSEMOND RIVER HIGH SCHOOL'S BASEBALL PROGRAM AND ITS TEAMS THROUGH PUBLIC RELATIONS FUNDRAISING AND SPECIAL EVENTS.

THE LYNCHBURG ROAD RUNNERS CLUB IS A LOCAL CHAPTER OF THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF RUNNING CLUBS, RUNNING EVENTS, AND RUNNERS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING LONG DISTANCE RUNNING AS A COMPETITIVE SPORT AND AS HEALTHFUL EXERCISE. RRCA'S MISSION IS TO REPRESENT AND PROMOTE THE COMMON INTEREST OF ITS MEMBER CLUBS, EVENTS, AND INDIVIDUAL RUNNERS THROUGH EDUCATION, LEADERSHIP, PROGRAMS AND OTHER SERVICES.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
