THE ROTARY INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SERVICE IN THE COMMUNITY, IN THE WORKPLACE, AND THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. ROTARIANS DEVELOP COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS THAT ADDRESS MANY OF TODAY'S MOST CRITICAL ISSUES, SUCH AS CHILDREN AT RISK, POVERTY AND HUNGER, THE ENVIRONMENT, ILLITERACY, AND VIOLENCE. THEY ALSO SUPPORT EDUCATIONAL AND VOCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES AND PROVIDE INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGES FOR CAREER DEVELOPMENT FOR STUDENTS, TEACHERS, AND OTHER PROFESSIONALS.

OUR MISSION IS TO BETTER THE NEIGHBORHOOD OF WOODLAND HEIGHTS. OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES ARE FUNDING OF A NEIGHBORHOOD SECURITY PROGRAM THROUGH THE HARRIS COUNTY CONSTABLE AND A HOLIDAY EVENT LIGHTS IN THE HEIGHTS.

AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE IS HELD TO FURTHER EDUCATE ITS MEMBER AND AWARD SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANTS TO BE USED IN ACQUIRING ADDITIONAL RESOURCES AND EQUIPMENTS.
