LENNOX AREA DEVELOPMENT CORP WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY OF LENNOX SOUTH DAKOTA

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

The goal of this organization is the consultation, training, and other forms of management assistance services to nonprofit groups within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area.

THE MISSION OF THE ASSOCIATED GENERAL CONTRACTORS OF SOUTH DAKOTA BUILDING CHAPTER IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND LEADERSHIP TO MEMBERS IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

TO ASSIST AND FURTHER THE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF SALEM, SD AND ITS ENVIRONS, AND TO PROMOTE AND ASSIST IN THE GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF SMALL BUSIENSSES IN THE AREA.

THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES ECONOMIC, INDUSTRIAL, HEALTH CARE AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR THE CITY OF HURON, BEADLE COUNTY AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. THIS IS DONE TO EXPAND TO ECONOMIC BASE AND QUALITY OF LIFE TO THE PEOPLE OF THE COMMUNITY/AREA.

The goal of this organization is to focus broadly on strengthening, unifying and building the economic, cultural, educational and social services of an urban community or neighborhood.

THE ORGANIZATION ENHANCES THE LOCAL BUSINESS CLIMATE BY PROVIDING IMPROVED AND EASY ACCESS TO THE AREA BY DEVELOPING AN EFFICIENT RESERVATION SYSTEM FOR VISITORS AND IMPROVING AVAILABLE AIR SERVICE.

THE SOUTH DAKOTA PHCC SHALL EXIST TO ENSURE THE PRESERVATION OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND SANITATION THROUGH THE TRAINING AND EDUCATION OF PLUMBING, HEATING AND COOLING CONTRACTORS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. FURTHER, THE ORGANIZATION WILL OPERATE AND SUPPORT AN ACTIVE AND EFFECTIVE APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION SHALL FURTHER SUPPORT THE STANDARDIZATION OF ALL MATERIALS AS APPLIED TO INSTALLATION OF PLUMBING, HEATING OR COOLING SYSTEMS AND SHALL SUPPORT UNIFORM CODES AND CODE ENFORCEMENT. THE ORGANIZATION SHALL PROVIDE TRAINING AND EDUCATION FOR ITS MEMBERS RELATED TO SOUND BUSINESS PRACTICES AND THE ETHICAL OPERATION OF MEMBERS' BUSINESSES. APPROXIMATELY 70 CONTRACTOR MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES ARE PROVIDED SERVICES RELATED TO INDUSTRY AND BUSINESS TRAINING. BUSINESS AND INDUSTRY TRAINING IS AVAILABLE DURING AN ANNUAL CONVENTION AND SPECIALIZED TRAINING IS AVAILABLE IN MEDICAL GAS CERTIFICATION, BACKFLOW PREVENTION CERTIFICATION, NATE TESTING AND CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR LICENSE

TO PROMOTE, ASSIST, ENCOURAGE, AND DEVELOP THE BUSINESS AND ECONOMIC PROSPERITY OF LAKE PRESTON, SD, AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. TO ENCOURAGE NEW INDUSTRY TO REHABILITATE EXISTING INDUSTRIES, AND TO PROMOTE THE AGRICULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF LAKE PRESTON, SD, AND SURROUNDING AREAS.

The goal of this organization is to provide technical assistance, loans, loan guarantees or other forms of management support to help impoverished urban communities create local jobs, sustain local services and build healthier local economies.
