FURTHER THE CHARITABLE, EDUC AND RELIGIOUS PURPOSES OF THE JEWISH FEDERATION OF CLEVELAND ("FEDERATION").

THE FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND AT ALL TIMES SHALL BE OPERATED FOR PUBLIC CHARITABLE PURPOSES AND FOR THE BENEFIT AND SUPPORT OF, AND TO PERFORM SOME OF THE FUNCTIONS OF THE ASHLAND COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, SO LONG AS THE ASHLAND COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION IS ORGANIZED AND AT ALL TIMES OPERATED, AS A "COMMUNITY FOUNDATION" DESCRIBED IN SECTIONS 501(C) (3) AND 509(A) (1) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.

The goal of this organization is to make grants for charitable purposes in a specific community or region. The funds available to a community foundation are usually derived from many donors and held in an endowment that is independently administered; income earned by the endowment is then used to make grants.

THE MISSION OF THE EUCLID SCHOOLS FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE PRIVATE FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE EUCLID CITY SCHOOLS AND ITS STUDENTS. SCHOLARSHIPS HELP SUPPORT WORTHY STUDENTS AND VARIOUS SCHOOL PROJECTS THAT ENRICH THE EDUCATION OF STUDENTS IN THE EUCLID CITY SCHOOLS SYSTEM.
