The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. [Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

THE MONUMENT BUILDERS OF NEW JERSEY (MBNJ) IS AN ASSOCIATION OF TRADE PROFESSIONALS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING THE LONG TERM STABILITY AND INTEGRITY OF THE MONUMENT INDUSTRY. THE ASSOCIATION PURSUES ITS GOALS THROUGH THE COMBINED USE OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, PUBLICITY, INDUSTRY EVENTS, GOVERNMENT AND INDUSTRY RELATIONS, AND PRINTED MATERIALS FOR BOTH THE TRADE AND CONSUMER. THE MBNJ MEMBERS SUPPORT THE MONUMENT INDUSTRY IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN A HIGH STANDARD OF BUSINESS ETHICS FOR ITS MEMBERS TO FOLLOW FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE INDUSTRY AND ULTIMATE BENEFIT OF THE CONSUMER.
