THE NORTH CAROLINA BAROQUE ORCHESTRA IS A PERIOD INSTRUMENT ENSEMBLE FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING ORCHESTRAL AND CHAMBER MUSIC OPPORTUNITIES FOR MUSICIANS SPECIALISING IN BAROQUE PERFORMANCE PRACTICE. THE ORCHESTRA MAINTAINS A GOAL OF PRESENTING REFINED, STYLIST, ARTISTIC AND FUN PERFORMANCES, ENGAGING BOTH THE PLAYERS AND THE LISTENERS IN STORIES AND HISTORICAL CONTEXT BEHIND THE MUSIC.
