TO PROVIDE A MEANS FOR MEMBERS TO GATHER TOGETHER AND SHARE SOCIAL EXPERIENCES ON MACKINAC ISLAND. THE COMMON INTEREST OF THE MEMBERSHIP IS AN APPRECIATION OF AND PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OF YACHTING AND OTHER BOATING ACTIVITIES ON THE GREAT LAKES.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION AND TRAINING IN THE CLAY TARGET SHOOTING SPORTS, FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING AND DEVELOPING THE SKILLS OF PARTICIPANTS IN PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE ORGANIZATION. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS, GUN CLUBS, 4H GROUPS, CHURCH GROUPS, AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE PURPOSE OF ORGANIZING, FUNDING AND OTHERWISE PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF YOUTH CLAY TARGET SHOOTING TEAMS.

CELEBRATION OF CITY BIRTHDAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS PURSUANT TO AND IN CONNECTION WITH CELEBRATING ANNIVERSARIES OF THE INCORPORATION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN; FURTHER, BY WAY OF EXAMPLE, BUT NOT LIMITATION: TO CONDUCT PICNICS, DINNER-DANCES, SPORTS EVENTS, PARADES, CARNIVALS AND TO SELL TICKETS FOR ALL OF THE FOREGOING TO PROMOTE PAGEANTS; TO HIRE BANDS AND ORCHESTRAS; TO RENT ANY PREMISES NECESSARY FOR THE STAGING OR HOLDING OF ANY CIVIC FUNCTION CONNECTED OR RELATE TO ANY OF THE FOREGOING; TO PURCHASE NECESSARY SUPPLIES, MERCHANDISE, FOOD AND BEVERAGES; TO SELL AND DISPENSE SOUVENIRS, FOOD, SOFT DRINKS, AND BEER.

Coaching, access to a swimming pool or other facilities, sports equipment, and officials for competitions are generally included.
