THE RETIREMENT INCOME INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION IS A TRADE ASSOCIATION FOR THE RETIREMENT INCOME INDUSTRY, WHICH CONSISTS OF COMPANIES THAT PROVIDE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS WITH RESPECT TO INCOME ACCUMULATION AND DISTRIBUTION FOR RETIRED INDIVIDUALS. RIIA SERVES AS A FORUM AND FACILITATOR FOR UNDERSTANDING, AND DEVELOPING SOLUTIONS FOR RETIREMENT INCOME ACCUMULATION AND DISTRIBUTION ISSUES. RIIA'S PRIMARY ACTIVITY IS TO HOST TOPICAL CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS ON RELEVANT RETIREMENT ISSUES AND DEVELOPMENTS. RIIA ALSO CREATES AWARENESS OF RETIREMENT INCOME ISSUES AND DEVELOPMENTS AMONG ITS MEMBERS, OTHER FINANCIAL SERVICES, PROFESSIONALS, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND GOVERNMENT REGULATORY AUTHORITIES AND LEGISLATORS THROUGH MEDIA OUTREACH, EDUCATION AND RESEARCH ACTIVITIES.

The goal of this organization are the learned societies, professional councils, and other organizations that bring together individuals or organizations with a common professional or vocational interest within the Community Improvement, Capacity Building major group area.
