The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

(CTA) WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING THE PHYSICAL AND SOCIAL CONDITIONS OF THE TENANTS OF CAMFIELD ESTATES, FORMERLY CAMFIELD GARDENS, AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT CONSISTING OF 102 APARTMENTS AND TOWNHOMES, LOCATED IN THE SOUTH END OF BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, AND TO INSURE THAT CAMFIELD ESTATES REMAINS AFFORDABLE FOR VERY LOW, LOW, AND MODERATE INCOME TENANTS. CTA FOCUSES ON OUTREACH AND INFORMATION TO TENANTS AND ESTABLISHING A WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY AROUND TENANT SELECTION, SECURITY PROGRAMS, AND YOUTH SERVICES.

TO PROVIDE SHELTER AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING, AS WELL AS ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT SERVICES, TO HOMELESS, BATTERED AND LOW-INCOME WOMEN, WITH OR WITHOUT CHILDREN. ABBY'S HOUSE EMPOWERS THE WOMEN WE SERVE TO LEAD SELF-DIRECTED LIVES FILLED WITH DIGNITY AND HOPE.

The goal of this organization is to clear slums and renew or rehabilitate old housing and other structures including abandoned buildings in blighted and depressed residential neighborhoods in order to provide a safe, sanitary and pleasant place for people to live.
