[Many of these are found in section 501(c)(6) business leagues; and 501(c)(6) chambers of commerce.]

MISSION:

ORGANIZATION UNITED ITS MEMBERS IN BOND OF FRATERNITY BENEVOLANCE CHARITY. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGHOUT A YEAR ROUND SCHEDULE OF SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE MEMBERS AND THEIR FAMILIES.

MISSION:

THE INDIANA BEVERAGE ALLIANCE IS A STATEWIDE TRADE ASSOCIATION MADE UP OF ALCOHOLIC AND NON-ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE WHOLESALERS. THE PURPOSE OF THE IBA IS TO IMPROVE THE BUSINESS AND LEGISLATIVE POSITIONS OF THE MEMBERS VIA EDUCATION AND POLITICAL INVOLVEMENT.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose members are business and professional men and/or women or other individuals who have a common interest in improving the life of the community, which conduct fund-raising events to finance community service projects. Many service clubs are chapters of national or international organizations.

THE PURPOSE OF THIS ORGANIZATION SHALL BE TO ADVANCE THE BUSINESS COMMUNITY, TO ENHANCE THE CIVIC, COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL AND PROFESSIONAL WELFARE OF PORTAGE, INDIANA, AND ITS NEIGHBORING COMMUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION STANDS TO PROMOTE INTEGRITY AND GOOD FAITH UNDER A FREE ENTERPRISE SYSTEM. IN DOING SO, IT SUPPORTS JUST AND EQUITABLE PRINCIPLES IN BUSINESS AND UNIFORMITY IN ALL ITS PRACTICES. THE ORGANIZATION ACQUIRES, PRESERVES AND DISTRIBUTES COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL STATISTICS AND INFORMATION TO PROMOTE BUSINESS GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT. IT FACILITATES INTELLIGENT DISCUSSION UPON MATTERS OF PUBLIC CONCERN AS WELL AS PREVENTION OF CONTROVERSY OR ABUSE OF BUSINESS PRACTICES. ABOVE ALL, THIS ORGANIZATION WORKS FOR THE INTEREST AND RIGHTS OF ITS MEMBERS AND THE COMMUNITY AS A WHOLE BY PROMOTION, PRESERVATION, AND POSITIVE GROWTH FOR PORTAGE.

TO SUPPORT LEGACY FOUNDATION, INC BY COLLABORATIVELY AND INNOVATIVELY BUILDING RESILIENT, ADAPTIVE, AND INCLUSIVE NEIGHBORHOODS; BRIDGE DIVIDES; AND INCREASE ECONOMIC PROSPERITY FOR ALL RESIDENTS IN ALL COMMUNITIES OF LAKE COUNTY.
