TO ASSIST WITH THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES WHICH WOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE THROUGH THE SCHOOL BUDGET, PROVIDED SUCH ACTIONS ARE WITHIN THE LAFAYETTE SCHOOL CORPORATION POLICIES AND CONSISTENT WITH ALL OTHER PROCEDURES, GUIDELINES,AND ANY STATUTES OR REGULATIONS OF ANY OTHER STATE OR FEDERAL AGENCY INCLUDING THE INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE. 6. TO AWARD COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS WITH SINCERE AND EARNEST ACADEMIC ASPIRATIONS WHO MIGHT NOT OTHERWISE RECEIVE THE ASSISTANCE THEY NEED TO OBTAIN A POSTSECONDARY EDUCATION.
