WHENEVER POSSIBLE, THE MEMBERS OF THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PARTICIPATE IN DEPARTMENT APPROVED WORK DETAILS, EMS AND FIRE STANDBYS, AND OTHER FUNCTIONS AS ORGANIZED BY THE DEPARTMENT, THE TOWN OR PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS. THE DEPARTMENT WILL ACCOMPLISH THIS MISSION WHILE MAINTAINING A HIGH REGARD FOR SAFETY AND HEALTH OF OUR PERSONNEL.
