THE PRESS CONFERENCES HOSTED BY THE ASSOCIATION HELP STIMULATE AND PROMOTE INTEREST IN THE MOTION PICTURE, TELEVISION, THEATRICAL ARTS AND VISUAL RECORDING ART INDUSTRIES IN THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD. THE ASSOCIATION ANNUALLY SPONSORS THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS WHICH RECOGNIZE OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN THE FIELDS OF MOTION PICTURES, THEATER, TELEVISION, AND THE VISUAL AND RECORDING ARTS. THE PUBLICITY GENERATED BY THIS INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED AWARDS PROGRAM PROMOTES SUCH FIELDS OF ENDEAVOR.
