THE WCAL WAS FOUNDED IN 1967 TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADMINISTRATION OF ATHLETIC COMPETITION AMONG ITS MEMBER SCHOOLS. ATHLETIC PARTICIPATION IS SEEN AS INTEGRAL TO THE COMMON CATHOLIC MISSION OF OUR SCHOOLS AND, AS SUCH, IS VIEWED AS AN EXTENSION OF THE CLASS ROOM.
