THE DESERT CENTER FOR LEGAL EDUCATION IS A NON-PROFIT FOUNDATION ESTABLISHED TO SUPPORT QUALIFIED LAW STUDENTS WITH A DEMONSTRATED FINANCIAL NEED, TO SUPPORT A LIMITED MEANS LAW CLINIC IN THE EAST COACHELLA, TO PROVIDE A LOCAL SOURCE OF CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION FOR THE COACHELLA VALLEY BAR, AND TO SUPPORT PUBLIC LEGAL EDUCATION EFFORTS AND TO PROVIDE PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL PRINT, RADIO AND TELEVISION INFORMATION REGARDING THE AMERICAN AND CALIFORNIA JUDICIAL SYSTEMS
