SET FREE MONTEREY BAY IS A CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION ESTABLISHED TO ASSIST ADULT WOMEN (AGES 18 AND OVER) SEX TRAFFICKING SURVIVORS TO FIND HEALING IN A CHRIST-CENTERED, RESTORATION HOME AND EDUCATE THE MONTEREY BAY COMMUNITY ABOUT HUMAN TRAFFICKING.

MISSION:

COMMUNITY LAWYERS, INC. WAS INCORPORATED IN CALIFORNIA IN MAY 2005. COMMUNITY LAWYERS, INC. WAS FORMED TO FORMALIZE MENTORING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FIRST-GENERATION PRE-LAW AND COLLEGE STUDENTS TO EXPOSE THEM TO OPPORTUNITIES IN, AND THE CHALLENGES OF THE LEGAL PROFESSION AND THE NEEDS OF LOW- AND MODERATE-INCOME CLIENTS. THE PRECURSOR TO COMMUNITY LAWYERS WAS STARTED AS AN INFORMAL MENTORING AND INTERNSHIP PROGRAM WITH PRIVATE ATTORNEYS. IN THE YEARS OF 2002 TO 2005, APPROXIMATELY A DOZEN NEW AND FUTURE ATTORNEYS SOUGHT ASSISTANCE FROM CLI FOR WORK AND PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO CREATE A PIPELINE FOR QUALITY, ETHICAL AND AFFORDABLE ATTORNEYS WHO ARE RESPONSIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE.

MERCED COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT COMMUNITY LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZED TO ASSIST THE MERCED COUNTY SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IN ACCOMPLISHING ITS LAW ENFORCEMENT MISSION, PROMOTING PUBLIC SAFETY AND SERVING THE COMMUNITY BY RECRUITING, ORGANIZING AND DIRECTING VOLUNTEER CITIZENS TO PROMOTE THE IDEAS OF PUBLIC SAFETY, PREVENTION OF CRIME, THROUGH COOPERATION, INVOLEMENT AND PARTICIPATION WITH LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT, THROUGH PUBLIC AWARENESS CAMPAGNS AND OTHER COMMUNITY OUTREACH PROGRAMS.

TO COORDINATE COMMUNITY EFFORTS IN CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION, INTERVENTIONS, TREATMENT AND EDUCATION, ADVOCATE FOR THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF ABUSED CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO ACTIVELY PROMOTE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN PROFESSIONALS IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE AGENCIES.
