ALSO, THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS TO DEVELOP PUBLIC POLICY PROPOSALS DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE VIETNAM-ERA VETERANS AND OTHERS, ESPECIALLY IN THE AREAS OF EMPLOYMENT, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND HEALTH.

THIS VETERANS POST PROVIDES OUTREACH SERVICES TO THE VETERANS IN THE MERCERSBURG AREA AND DONATES TO LOCAL CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES A POST HOME AND PICNIC GROUNDS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND FAMILIES OF THE MEMBERS.
