THE JOHN MUIR/MT. DIABLO COMMUNITY HEALTH FUND ("CHF") IS A TAX EXEMPT 501(C)(3) SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION TO JOHN MUIR HEALTH ("JMH") FOCUSING ON POPULATIONS WHO ARE UNINSURED OR UNDER-INSURED AND MOST LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE DISPARITIES IN HEALTH CARE.

TO SUPPORT PERSONS FOR CIVIC, EDUCATIONAL, CHARITABLE AND BENEVOLENT CAUSES INCLUDING PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS, AIDING FAMILIES OF DECEASED OR INJURED FIREFIGHTERS AND PROVIDING TRAINING FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT USEFUL TO THE FIRE DEPARTMENT, WHICH WOULD BENEFIT THE TOWN OF ASHLAND.

DURING THE YEAR ENDING 8/31/2023 THE ORGANIZATION DISTRIBUTED FUNDS TO SEVEN LOCAL AGENCIES PROVIDING LITERACY INSTRUCTION, ASSISTANCE TO THE NEEDY, COUNSELING, CHILDCARE,PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH, THERAPY FOR DISABLED CHILDREN AND MANY MORE SERVICES.
