THE PURPOSE OF THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION IS TO ACQUIRE FUNDS FOR PROVIDING AND PROMOTING A BROAD ARRAY OF EDUCATIONAL SERVIES TO THE SHERIDAN COUNTY COMMUNITY THAT ARE NOT FORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE REGULAR K-12 PUBLIC SCHOOLS PROGRAM, INCLUDING PRESCHOOL AND ADULT EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, AS WELL AS ENHANCEMENTS TO THE K-12 PROGRAM. ADDITIONALLY, THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION PROVIDES A CENTER FOR THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THAT COME TOGETHER TO PROVIDE A STRONGER BASIS TO SERVICE THE SHERIDAN COMMUNITY.

THE WE CARE FUND, INC. (WE CARE) OPERATES TO RELIEVE THE DISTRESS AND SUFFERING OF THE WINN-DIXIE STORES, INC.'S (THE EMPLOYER) WORKFORCE, CURRENTLY COMPRISED OF APPROXIMATELY 50,000 EMPLOYEES, WHICH IS CAUSED BY CURRENT AND FUTURE DISASTERS AND EMERGENCY HARDSHIP SITUATIONS.
