THE SILVER INSTITUTE'S PURPOSE IS THAT OF PROMOTING THE WELFARE OF THE SILVER INDUSTRY.

The goal of this organization are the organizations like chambers of commerce, business leagues and commercial trade associations whose members are businessmen and women and merchants who have affiliated for the purpose of promoting the general commercial interests of the community or the interests of their own trade. SEMATECH'S MISSION IS TO COOPERATIVELY SET GLOBAL INDUSTRY DIRECTION AND ACCELERATE TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS IN INFRASTRUCTURE, LITHOGRAPHY, MATERIALS AND MANUFACTURING, TO ENSURE A STRONG AND VIBRANT SEMICONDUCTOR INDUSTRY. A PRINCIPAL MEANS BY WHICH SEMATECH ACHIEVES ITS MISSION IS TO FUND RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT CONTRACTS IN THE VARIOUS AREAS OF ADVANCED SEMICONDUCTOR TECHNOLOGY.

TO PROMOTE THE HISTORIC TOWN OF JULIAN, CA THE JULIAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXISTS TO PROMOTE JULIAN AS A TOURIST DESTINATION. THE CHAMBER PROMOTES BUSINESS MEMBERS OF THE CHAMBER AND HOLDS SPECIAL EVENTS IN JULIAN WHICH ENCOURAGES VISITORS TO THE COMMUNITY

THIS EDUCATIONAL FUNCTION IS ACCOMPLISHED BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND TO ASSIST IN THE PRESENTATION OF SEMINARS THAT ALLOW THE ORGANIZATION TO QUALIFY AS AN EXEMPT ORGANIZATION UNDER SECTIONS 501(A) AND 501(C)(6).

MEMBER DRIVEN ASSOCIATION OF 25-30 INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENCIES, SHARING BEST PRACTICES/INFORMATION AMONG MEMBERS WITH A KEY GOAL OF PERPETUATION OF THE INDEPENDENT INSURANCE AGENCY INDUSTRY. MEMBERS PAY ANNUAL DUES.
