TO FULFILL ITS PURPOSES, THE CORPORATION: (I) DEVELOPS NEW, OR UPDATES EXISTING, OPEN SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DATA STORAGE INDUSTRY AND THEN ACTS AS THE NEUTRAL REPOSITORY FOR THE CORPORATION'S APPROVED NVME SPECIFICATIONS; AND (II) PROMOTES AND MARKETS THE BENEFITS OF THE CORPORATION'S APPROVED NVME SPECIFICATIONS TO THE DATA STORAGE INDUSTRY TO ENABLE BROADER INDUSTRY ADOPTION OF THE CORPORATION'S OPEN AND PUBLICLY- AVAILABLE STANDARDS.
