ALL PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO DELIVER SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY OF ST. MARTIN PARISH. WE ARE THE DESIGNATED AGENCY (WITH STATE AND REGIONAL AGENCIES) FOR MEAL SERVICES, SENIOR CENTERS, HOMEMAKERS, AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES THE OLDER ADULT POPULATION OPPORTUNITIES TO BECOME INVOLVED IN VARIOUS SPONSORED ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS, AS WELL AS ARRANGING NEEDED SERVICES SUCH AS TRANSPORTATION.

THE LIFE ENRICHMENT CENTERS MISSION IS DEDICATED TO CREATING A HIGH QUALITY, ACCESSIBLE ARTS AND CULTURE PLATFORM THAT FOCUSES ON THE IMPORTANCE OF LIFELONG LEARNING IN THE FINE ARTS, HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAMS AND CULTURAL HUMANITIES FOR A VIBRANT ADULT COMMUNITY.

THE PRIMARY FUNCTION OF THE RICHLAND VOLUNTARY COUNCIL ON AGING, INC. IS TO IMPROVE TEH QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE PARISH'S ELDERLY AND TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO THE ELDERLY AS WELL AS COORDINATE AND MONITOR THE SERVICES OF OTHER LOCAL AGENCIES SERVING THE AGING PEOPLE OF THE PARISH.

WE PROVIDE A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS ALLOWING MEMBERS TO STAY IN THEIR HOMES, STAY ENGAGED MEET NEIGHBORS AND PARTICIPATE IN LIFE-ENRICHING EVENTS. USING OUR INFRASTRUCTURE WE CONNECT SENIORS WITH VOLUNTEERS. IN ANY MONTH WE MEET IN EXCESS OF 800 SERVICE REQUESTS FROM NEARLY 500 OLDER ADULT MEMBERS
