OUR MISSION AS A THRIFT STORE IS TO PROVIDE QUALITY MERCHANDISE AT THRIFT STORE PRICES, WHILE SERVING THE COMMUNITY AND ANYONE THAT ENJOYS A BARGAQIN. ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE GIVING STORE GO TO BENEFIT S.A.F.E. HOUSE AND TOWARDS ENDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. S.A.F.E. HOUSE HELPS TO SUPPORT THE LIVES OF WOMEN AND CHILDREN WHO HAVE ESCAPED ABUSIVE SITUATIONS. THE LETTERS OF THEIR NAME STAND FOR: "STOP ABUSE IN THE FAMILY ENVIRONMENT."

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO UNITY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL IN FULTON, IL, A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION UNDER 501(C)(3)OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE, THROUGH THE OPERATION OF A THRIFT STORE WHERE ITEMS ARE DONATED BY THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

CENTRAL FURNITURE RESCUE EXISTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF COLLECTING USED FURNITURE AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD ITEMS AND PROVIDING THEM TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES TRANSITIONING FROM HOMELESS SHELTERS INTO THEIR OWN HOMES.

PROVIDE INDIVIDUALS IN MD DC AND VA WITH DONATED CLOTHING DONATES TO OTHER NONPROFITS TO REDUCE CLOTHING IN LANDFILLS BY REDISTRIBUTION

THE PAST, PRESENT AND PLANNED ACTIVITIES IS THE SALE OF USED MERCHANDISE TO SUPPORT ITS CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES. THE PRIMARY CHARITABLE ACTIVITY AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 2 OF THE BYLAWS IS TO OPERATE A SHELTER FOR HOMELESS MEN AND TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITIES WHERE THE RETAIL STORES RESIDE. THE ORGANIZATION WILL OPERATE A SHELTER FOR HOMELESS MEN AND WILL PROVIDE CLOTHING, SHOES, FOOD, AND SMALL HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES TO FAMILIES IN NEED WITHIN OUR COMMUNITIES TO BETTER THEIR LIVES.
