TO PROVIDE PREVENTION, ESCAPE, AND RECOVERY SERVICES FOR VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE; TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY SHELTER TO RESIDENTS OF PIATT COUNTY WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC ABUSE; TO PROVIDE ACCESS TO TRANSITIONAL RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES IN SEARCH OF SAFE AND PERMANENT HOUSING AND EMPLOYMENT AND/OR ASSIST WITH FILING FOR AN ORDER OF PROTECTION; TO PROVIDE ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION FOR THE ELIMINATION OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

SOMEBODY'S ATTIC IS A NON-PROFIT THRIFT STORE THAT SELLS DONATED MERCHANDISE AT AFFORDABLE PRICES TO LOW-INCOME FAMILIES. THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALES OF DONATED MERCHANDISE ARE GIVEN TO ABUSE PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION PROGRAMS OPERATING IN CACHE VALLEY - CAPSA AND CHILD AND FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER.

TO ENABLE THE PEOPLE OF WAUSHARA COUNTY TO SHARE CLOTHING AND HOUSEHOLD GOODS WITH THOSE LESS FORTUNATE AND FURTHER BY PROVIDING AND BUILDING SPACE AND VOLUNTEER PERSONNEL TO RECEIVE, SORT AND DISTRIBUTE SAID MATERIALS.

TO SERVE THE DISENFRANCHISED MEMBERS OF OUR COMMUNITY WHO FIND THEMSELVES IN NEED OF ESSENTIAL GOODS AND BASIC HUMAN AND LIFE-ENHANCING SERVICES. THIS MISSION IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE OPERATION OF A THRIFT STORE.
