THE THIRD STORY PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY: SUMMER PROGRAMS (SUMMER JAM), STREET CHURCH, WHIZ KIDS TUTORING, THE EDGGE (OPPORTUNITIES FOR MIDDLE-SCHOOL BOYS AND MIDDLE/HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS), COMMUNITY OUTREACH, SMART SACKS DINNERS AND HEALTHY MINI MEALS. THE THIRD STORY ALSO RAISES AWARENESS AND FUNDS FOR THESE PROGRAMS THROUGH WRITTEN MEDIA AND MUSIC.

THE PURPOSE OF SHOREVIEW AREA YOUTH BASEBALL IS TO IMPLANT FIRMLY IN THE CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY THE IDEALS OF TEAMWORK, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, HONESTY, LOYALTY, COURAGE AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY, SO THAT THEY MAY BE WELL ADJUSTED, STRONGER AND HAPPIER CHILDREN AND WILL GROW TO BE GOOD, DECENT, HEALTHY AND TRUSTWORTHY ADULT CITIZENS.
