HIGH SCHOOLS SCHOLARS PROGRAM IS A COLLEGE PREP PROGRAM THAT HELPS NYC HS 10TH AND 11TH GRADE MINORITY GIRLS APPLY FOR COLLEGE SHOLARSHIPS AS WELL AS TEACH PROFESSIONAL AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS. 20 SCHOLARS ARE SELECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR COLLEGE PREP SUMMER BOOT CAMP.

BEGINNING IN MIDDLE SCHOOL, BOYS ENTER OUR PROGRAM TO RECEIVE MENTORSHIP, ACADEMIC SUPPORT, RECREATION, CULTURAL ENRICHMENT, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT THROUGH THE AGE OF 21. WE BE

The goal of this organization is to emphasize the total development of young people through work on animal, engineering, family/consumer health, resource, plant or social science projects in consultation with their parents and supervising adult volunteers. Members also participate in camping activities, leadership conferences, awards programs and community service activities.

ACTIVITIES TEAM PLANNING FUN ACTIVITIES THAT HELP OUR PEERS CHOOSE TO BE SAFE AND SOBER. SKILL-BUILDING TEAM ENRICHING YOUTH WITH SKILLS AND CLASSES THAT HELP YOU PREPARE FOR LIFE. MARKETING TEAM SIMPLIFYING TECHY STUFF SO THAT EVEN ADULTS MIGHT GET IT. ADULT MENTOR TEAM SEEKING THE TIME, TALENT, AND TREASURE OF ADULTS WHO WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT YOUTH.

OUR MOST SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITY REMAINS TO BE OUR FOUNDING PROGRAM, RELEASED TIME. WE OFFER CHRISTIAN EDUCATION FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTS EXCUSED FROM SCHOOL FOR ONE HOUR WEEKLY, AS PERMITTED BY CALIFORNIA EDUCATION CODE 46014.
