THE OWYHEE COUNTY RODEO BOARD'S SPECIFIC PURPOSE IS TO ORGANIZE AND OPERATE AN ANNUAL RODEO THAT TAKES PLACE THE SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST. THE FUNDS DERIVED FROM SAID RODEO ARE REINVESTED IN PROJECTS AND FACILITIES THAT BENEFIT THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.
