BEACH CITIES SWIMMING HAS BEEN FORMED TO (A) EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON SUBJECTS USEFUL TO THE INDIVIDUAL AND BENEFICIAL TO THE COMMUNITY AND, (B) INSTRUCT INDIVIDUALS FOR THE PURPOSE OF IMPROVING OR DEVELOPING THEIR CAPABILITIES. THE PURPOSE IS FURTHERED BY PROVIDING AQUATIC TEACHING AND TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS.

MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

TEMPERANCE TRAINING IS AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY OF MEN AND WOMEN WHO HAVE RECOVERED FROM ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION AND WHO VALUE SPIRITUAL AND PHYSICAL FITNESS. WE OFFER 100% FREE CROSSFIT CLASSES SIX DAYS PER WEEK AS WELL AS WEEKLY GROUP MEDITATION SESSIONS. WE ALSO ORGANIZE FREE MONTHLY GROUP ACTIVITIES AND OUTINGS RANGING FROM VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES TO FELLOWSHIP AND FUN GATHERINGS. THESE PROGRAMS ENABLE MEMBERS TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY, BUILD FRIENDSHIPS, WELCOME NEWCOMERS, AND EXPERIENCE JOY AND CAMARADERIE IN SOBRIETY.

IN ADDITION, BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION ARE TO EDUCATE, EQUIP, AND EMPOWER BIG WALNUT YOUTH LEADERS, VOLUNTEERS, AND PARENTS SO ALL CHILDREN CAN ENJOY THE LIFELONG BENEFITS OF SPORTS.
