BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL. THE BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PROGRAM PROVIDES A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR CHILDREN TO INTERACT WITH THEIR PEERS TO ENHANCE THEIR COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND LEARN TO WORK AS A TEAM DURING THESE TIMES WHEN CHILDHOOD OBESITY IS A LARGE CONCERN, THE FLOYDS KNOBS COMMUNITY CLUB PROVIDES ACTIVITIES THROUGH THE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL LEAGUE FOR CHILDREN TO GET REGULAR EXERCISE AND PROMOTE HEALTHY LIFESTYLES DURING THE SEASON, EACH CHILD WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET VALUABLE EXERCISE WHILE AT THE SAME TIME LEARN TO WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM AND TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTION FROM THEIR COACHES. THE LEAGUE ALSO PROVIDES EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUTHS IN THE FORM OF UMPIRES. THE YOUTHS WILL ENHANCE THEIR LEADERSHIP SKILLS BY BEING IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY OVER GROUPS OF CHILDREN OF DIFFERENT AGE AND MATURITY LEVELS. THE YOUTH UMPIRES GAIN LEADERSHIP AND COMMUNICATION SKILLS AS A RESULT.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.

TO MAKE HOCKEY AVAILABLE TO ALL YOUTH IN HIBBING, CHISHOLM, AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES DESIRING TO PLAY.

These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

WE FOCUS ON DEVELOPING THE PERSON WITHIN THE PLAYER, WHICH STRENGTHENS THEIR ABILITIES ON THE FIELD, IN THE CLASSROOM AND ULTIMATELY IN THEIR CAREERS.

ORGANIZING, ADVISING, MENTORING YOUNG MEN OF LAKEVILLE NORTH HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH THE SPORT EXAMPLE OF THE BOARD MEMBERS AND VOLUNTEERS SHOWN IN THE ORGANIZING AND ENCOURAGEMENT PROVIDED IN THE COURSE OF BASKETBALL.
