TO PROVIDE YACHTING AND BOATING ACCESS FOR MEMBERS OF THE TOWN RIVER YACHT CLUB.

THE FAIRBANKS CURLING CLUB'S MISSION IS TO TEACH, DEVELOP, PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE THE SPORT OF CURLING; TO DEVELOP YOUTH AND ADULT PROGRAMS THAT LEAD TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION; TO COORDINATE AND DEVELOP INTERSCHOLASTIC COMPETITION; AND TO TEACH THE SPORT TO THE YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS AS WELL AS INTERESTED ADULTS BY CREATING PUBLIC AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION FOR THE SPORT. IN RECENT YEARS THE ORGANIZATION HAS FOCUSED MORE ON YOUTH PROGRAMS AND TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT THAT HAS RESULTED IN CURLERS FROM FAIRBANKS BEING REPRESENTED ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIONS INCLUDING THE OLYMPICS.

ORGANIZING TRACK & FIELD, LONG DISTANCE RUNNING, AND RACE WALKING EVENTS AND CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR YOUTH, OPEN AND MASTERS ATHLETES; MEMBERSHIP AND SANCTION ADMINISTRATION; AND EDUCATION AND PROMOTION OF PHYSICAL FITNESS. ALL ARE IN OUR DESIGNATED REGION AS A LOCAL ASSOCIATION OF USA TRACK AND FIELD WHICH IS THE GOVERNING BODY FOR THESE SPORTS IN THIS COUNTRY AS DESIGNATED BY THE US OLYMPIC COMMITTEE AND WORLD ATHLETICS.

THE CORPORATION IS ORGANIZED EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, AND TO FOSTER NATIONAL AMATEUR ATHLETIC PURPOSES. THE PURPOSE OF THE LOMBARD BASEBALL LEAGUE, INC. SHALL BE TO IMPLANT FIRMLY IN THE CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY THE IDEALS OF GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP, COMPETITION, LOYALTY TO CAUSE, PRIDE IN ACHIEVEMENT, RECOGNITION OF THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS, AND RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY. THE PURPOSE WILL BE ACHIEVED BY PROVIDING SUPERVISED COMPETITIVE BASEBALL GAMES. THE SUPERVISORS SHALL BEAR IN MIND THE MOLDING OF FUTURE MEN AND WOMEN ARE OF PRIME IMPORTANCE.
