These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

CBA BELIEVES THAT IF YOU TEACH YOUNG PEOPLE TO PLAY BY THE RULES, THEY WILL LEARN TO LIVE BY THE RULES. THE LEAGUES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE DEVELOP INTO BETTER ADULTS THROUGH PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED, SUPERVISED COMPETITIVE ATHLETICS. SPORTSMANSHIP, TEAMWORK, SELF RELIANCE, AND SELF-DISCIPLINE ARE SOME OF THE POSITIVE CHARACTERISTICS THAT ARE LEARNED, ALONG WITH HOW TO WIN AND HOW TO ACCEPT DEFEAT, BY PARTICIPATION IN ORGANIZED LEAGUE PLAY. THE ASSOCIATION (KNOWN AS CBA) OFFERS A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS FOR INEXPERIENCED PLAYERS TO SEASONED VETERANS LOOKING FOR A COMPETITIVE ENVIRONMENT.
