MISSION:

THE PURPOSE OF USA TAEKWONDO SHALL BE TO ENABLE UNITED STATES ATHLETES TO ACHIEVE SUSTAINED COMPETITIVE EXCELLENCE IN THE SPORT OF TAEKWONDO IN THE UNITED STATES AND TO SERVE AS THE NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY FOR THE SPORT OF TAEKWONDO UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE UNITED STATES OLYMPIC AND PARALYMPIC COMMITTEE (USOPC) AS SET OUT BELOW. FURTHERMORE, USAT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING THE NECESSARY PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND SUPPORT FOR ALL TAEKWONDO PARTICIPANTS BY PROVIDING A SAFE AND POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT AS WELL AS DEMONSTRATING THE HIGH ATHLETIC SKILL, SELF-DISCIPLINE, HUMILITY, INDOMITABLE SPIRIT AND EXPRESSION OF OLYMPIC IDEALS REQUIRED TO EXCEL IN THE SPORT. USAT ENVISIONS A WORLD WHERE TAEKWONDO PARTICIPANTS OF ALL LEVELS HAVE THE NECESSARY PROGRAMS, SERVICES, SUPPORT AND TRAINING TO ACHIEVE EXCELLENCE IN THE SPORT AND THAT USAT IS SEEN AS THE PREMIER BENCHMARK FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF TAEKWONDO AS AN OLYMPIC SPORT, METHOD OF SELF-DEFENSE, FORM OF RECREATION AND WAY OF LIFE.

MISSION:

HIRAM FARM LIVING AND LEARNING COMMUNITY IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES OPPORTUNTIES FOR PERSONS WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER ASD TO GROW, LEARN, WORK, AND LIVE.

TO PROMOTE TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP AND TO OPERATE FOR ITS MEMBERS BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO ITS CAMPS, FIELDS AND STREAMS IN COLUMBIA COUNTY AND NEW YORK STATE.

THE MISSION OF UPPER VALLEY ROWING FOUNDATION (UVRF) IS TO CREATE A COMMUNITY FOR THE SPORT OF ROWING BY OFFERING A WIDE VARIETY OF OPPORTUNITIES FOR AREA RESIDENTS TO ROW ON THE CONNECTICUT RIVER. BY MAKING AVAILABLE PUBLIC, ROWING-APPROPRIATE ACCESS TO THE CONNECTICUT RIVER, INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS, COMPETITIVE OPPORTUNITIES, AND EDUCATION FORUMS ABOUT THE SPORT, UVRF WILL SERVE AS AN ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES DIVERSE BENEFITS TO THE REGION AS A WHOLE.

THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES ICE HOCKEY OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUTH IN THE ROSEMOUNT AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY PROVIDING THEM WITH INSTRUCTION, PRACTICES, CLINICS, TOURNAMENTS AND LEAGUE COMPETITION.

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

The goal of this organization is to raise and distribute funds for multiple organizations within the Recreation, Sports, Leisure, Athletics major group area.

MANAGE & MAINTAIN THE BUILDINGS AND GROUNDS OF BALLARD PARK IN THE VILLAGE OF WESTPORT, NY INCLUDING A SKATING RINK AND CONCERT EVENTS.

TO ENCOURAGE AND FOSTER PARTICIPATION IN AND PLAYING OF THE GAME OF HANDBALL WITH RESPECT TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND OTHER PEOPLE OF THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST, IN PARTICULAR, AND OF THE UNITED STATES IN GENERAL.

The goal of this organization is to make available to members and their guests and facilities for recreational activities, sports and games. Also included are social clubs that provide opportunities for people to meet and socialize with their peers at dances, parties, picnics, barbecues and other companionable events; and special interest clubs which enable people to share hobbies or other interests with individuals with those same interests.
