MISSION:

TEACH BEGINNING SAILING, PROVIDE CONTINUING EDUCATION IN SAILING TECHNIQUES, STRESS SPORTSMANSHIP, SEAMANSHIP AND WATER SAFETY TO REDUCE BOATING ACCIDENTS AND INCREASE ENJOYMENT OF BOATING.

SWIM TRAINING FOR HEALTH, FITNESS, COMPETITION AND TO SUPPORT AMATEUR COMPETITION LOCALLY, NATIONALLY AND INTERNATIONALLY FOR APPROXIMATELY 230 MEMBERS AND 2000 OTHER SWIMMERS.

NORCAL CREW IS DEDICATED TO TRAINING YOUTH IN THE SPORT OF COMPETITIVE ROWING. THE ORGANIZATION HAS TEAMS FOR BOYS AND GIRLS FROM AGE 12-18. MOST ARE FROM THE LOCAL AREA AROUND REDWOOD CITY CALIFORNIA. ITS ACTIVITIES INVOLVE ON-THE-WATER TRAINING IN A VARIETY OF BOAT TYPES AND SIZES AS WELL AS SIGNIFICANT DRY LAND TRAINING. MOST OF THE TRAINING IS CONDUCTED IN REDWOOD CITY AND IS SUPERVISED BY PROFESSIONAL COACHES. THE TEAMS COMPETE IN A NUMBER OF REGATTAS BOTH LOCALLY AND AROUND THE UNITED STATES.

WE ARE AN ORGANIZATION THAT GUIDES SWIMMERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND ALUMNI TO DEMONSTRATE EXCELLENCE IN THEIR LIVES BY ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN THEIR COMMUNITY AND TEAM. WE ACCOMPLISH THIS BY INSTILLING SELF-CONFIDENCE, DISCIPLINE, ACCOUNTABILITY, AND RESPECT.
