MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for people of all ages to learn, become competitive in and enjoy the organized recreational activity, sport or game of their choice. These programs may be offered by local clubs devoted to a particular activity or sport; may provide individual or team coaching assistance or instruction, access to equipment and facilities, and uniforms, if necessary; and may sponsor or make arrangements for athletes to participate in amateur competitions, usually at the local or regional level, and provide officials for games. These events are generally for the enjoyment of the athletes and are not at a high enough competitive level to be considered spectator sports.

THE BUFFALO YACHT CLUB IS A SOCIAL CLUB. THE CLUB PROVIDES MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, AND THEIR GUESTS WITH FACILTIES WHICH ENCOURAGE AND DEVELOP YACHTING AND OTHER AQUATIC SPORTS, AS WELL AS OTHER LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES AND ENTERTAINMENT. THE BUFFALO YACHT CLUB IS THE ONLY TWELVE-MONTH, PRIVATE YACHT CLUB THAT ENJOYS TWO LOCATIONS IN TWO COUNTRIES AND IS SAID TO BE THE 3RD OLDEST YACHT CLUB IN AMERICA, BEING FORMED IN 1860.

CUTTYS OKOBOJI RESORT CLUB IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING FAMILY RECREATION FACILITIES FOR CAMPING, CRAFTS, SPORTS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS AND GUESTS.

THE NDC IS A MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO ADVANCING THE PARTY PRINCIPLES IN A SOCIAL ATMOSPHERE. THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC SOCIAL CLUB IS LOCATED ON CAPITOL HILL, WITHIN BLOCKS OF CONGRESSIONAL OFFICE BUILDINGS, THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS, AND THE US SUPREME COURT. OUR MEMBERSHIP HAS ACCESS TO DINE IN OUR RESTAURANT, RENT OUT OUR MEETING ROOM AND ATTEND A VARIETY OF CLUB EVENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
