THE STOCKDALE VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF EXTINGUISHING FIRES AND PROTECTING LIFE AND PROPERTY OF ALL WHO RESIDE IN THE COMMUNITY, THOSE OF THE SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES, AS WELL AS THE PEOPLE THAT PASS THROUGH THE COMMUNITIES OF THE MID MON-VALLEY
