ROBERT FOX MEMORIAL SHELTER HOUSING DEVELOPMENT FUND CORPORATION WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1985 AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION WHICH PROVIDES TEMPORARY HOUSING AND SOCIAL SERVICES TO HOMELESS WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN. WOMEN ARE ENCOURAGED TO GET GED'S, JOB TRAINING, COLLEGE CLASSES, PLUS HOUSEKEEPING SKILLS AND PARENTING CLASSES. THROUGH THESE SERVICES THE WOMEN MOVE FROM DEPENDENCE TO SELF SUFFICIENCY AND INDEPENDENCE.
