The goal of this organization is to clear slums and renew or rehabilitate old housing and other structures including abandoned buildings in blighted and depressed residential neighborhoods in order to provide a safe, sanitary and pleasant place for people to live.

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

THE HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION PROVIDES SNOW REMOVAL SERVICES, LANDSCAPE AND PLAYGROUND MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS AND IMPROVEMENTS TO THE ROADS AND BIDGES WITHIN THE DEVELOPMENT. THE ASSOCIATION IS ALSO REQUIRED TO CARRY INSURANCE ON THESE COMMON AREAS AND PROVIDE SOME BASIC UTILITIES. MANY OF THESE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITH A CONTRACT WITH A MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
