TO PROVIDE LOW COST HOUSING FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL DISABILITIES. THE AGENCY OWNS THREE DUPLEXES IN INDEPENDENCE, IOWA, ONE DUPLEX IN WINTHROP, IOWA, ONE DUPLEX IN JESUP, IOWA, AND ONE DUPLEX IN FAIRBANK, IOWA. EACH DUPLEX HAS TWO APARTMENTS AND EACH APARTMENT HAS TWO BEDROOMS.

The goal of this organization is to develop, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing that is available to people who qualify on the basis of income, age or disability for publicly subsidized housing e.g., HUD housing or housing assistance under Section 8 of the Housing and Urban Development Act.

THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES ESSENTIAL SERVICES AND MAINTAINS APPROXIMATELY 960 ACRES IN A COMMUNITY THAT INCLUDES APPROXIMATELY 1583 LOTS AND PARK LAND THAT IS OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

PROVIDE FOR MAINTENANCE, PRESERVATION AND ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL OF THE RESIDENCE LOTS, HOMES AND COMMON AREA AND TO PROMOTE THE HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF THE RESIDENTS.
