The goal of this organization is to develop, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing that is available to people who qualify on the basis of income, age or disability for publicly subsidized housing e.g., HUD housing or housing assistance under Section 8 of the Housing and Urban Development Act.

CAPPS VILLA, INC. IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT STATUTES OF THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA. THE CORPORATION WAS FORMED FOR THE PURPOSE OF OPERATING A 15 UNIT COMMUNITY KNOWN AS CAPPS VILLA LOCATED IN SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA, WHICH PROVIDES HOUSING FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES. THE CORPORATION RECEIVES HOUSING ASSISTANCE FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION 811 OF THE NATIONAL HOUSING ACT, AS AMENDED.

TO PROMOTE ADEQUATE AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING, ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY, AND A SUITABLE LIVING ENVIRONMENT FREE FROM DISCRIMINATION.
