THE SONOMA COUNTY GRAPE GROWERS FOUNDATION (SCGGF) WAS FIRST ESTABLISHED IN 2002 AS A 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATION TO HELP FUND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS IN SPANISH FOR AGRICULTURAL EMPLOYEES. IT WAS RELAUNCHED IN JANUARY OF 2016 BY LOCAL GRAPE GROWERS RECOGNIZING THE OPPORTUNITY TO INVEST AND WORK TOGETHER TO SUPPORT VINEYARD EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES. SCGGF IS FOCUSED ON IMPROVING THE LIVES OF SONOMA COUNTY'S VINEYARD EMPLOYEES AND THEIR FAMILIES, WHILE ENSURING SONOMA COUNTY REMAINS A PLACE WHERE EMPLOYEES WILL CONTINUE TO LIVE, WORK, AND THRIVE.

LAWRENCE MEALS ON WHEELS' MISSION HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO PROVIDE FOOD SERVICE FOR THE AGED, CONVALESCENT AND/OR DISABLED RESIDING IN LAWRENCE, KANSAS, REGARDLESS OF RACE, COLOR OR CREED, IN ORDER TO REMAIN INDEPENDENT IN THEIR OWN HOMES AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE ORGANIZATION'S GOAL TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO ELIGIBLE CLIENTS REGARDLESS OF THEIR ABILITY TO PAY.

ASSIST AND ENCOURAGE ADOPTION OF BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES (BMPS) TO PROTECT AND IMPROVE WATER QUALITY IN ILLINOIS. THE GOALS INCLUDE IDENTIFYING AND DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE, ENVIRONMENTALLY-SOUND, AND ECONOMICAL BMPS FOR PRODUCTION AGRICULTURE; INCREASING THE ADOPTION OF BMPS THROUGH EDUCATION, INFORMATION TRANSFER, RESEARCH, DEMONSTRATION, AND INCENTIVE/RECOGNITION PROGRAMS; AND ASSISTING AND/OR FACILITATING THE TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL RESOURCES NEEDED TO CARRY OUT THIS MISSION
