MISSION:

THROUGH A COLLECTIVE VOICE, THE WYOMING COALITION AGAINST DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL ASSAULT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP, EDUCATION, AND SYSTEMS ADVOCACY TO ADVANCE SOCIAL CHANGE AND END VIOLENCE.

MISSION:

THE MISSION OF UJIMA IS TO MOBILIZE THE COMMUNITY TO RESPOND AND END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY. UJIMA SERVES AS A CLEARINGHOUSE FOR RESEARCH LITERATURE, WEBINARS, NATIONAL ISSUE FORUMS, REGIONAL TRAININGS, COMMUNITY-SPECIFIC ROUNDTABLES, BLOGS, ARTICLES, AND ON-SITE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE. UJIMA WORKS WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO DEVELOP PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENTS, ISSUE BRIEFS, VIDEOS, MONOGRAPHS, AND FACT SHEETS. AS A NATIONAL ORGANIZATION, UJIMA'S MISSION TO WORK SPECIFICALLY ON BEHALF OF THE BLACK COMMUNITY IS FOCUSED ON NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMMING.

TO EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY GUIDE INDIVIDUALS, CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TOWARDS INDEPENDENCE AND SAFETY AND TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR THE RESIDENTS LIVING AND PLAYING IN THE COMMUNITY USING STRONG COMMUNITY COLLABORATION.

THROUGH PROGRAM ACTIVITIES, JANA'S CAMPAIGN AIMS TO PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE IN BREAK THE CYCLES OF DOMESTIC AND DATING VIOLENCE AND BE A CATALYST FOR SOCIAL CHANGE. PARTNERING WITH OTHER ADVOCATES, ACTIVISTS, VICTIMS, THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE SYSTEM AND LAWMAKERS, JANA'S CAMPAIGN SEEKS TO REDUCE AND RESPOND TO GENDER VIOLENCE BY PURSUING A STRATEGY BUILT ON FIVE PROGRAM AREAS. THROUGH PUBLIC AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY ACTION; EDUCATION; PREVENTION AND INTERVENTION; PUBLIC POLICY ADVOCACY; CAMPUS ACTION; AND ENGAGING MEM AND BOYS TO REDUCE GENDER VIOLENCE, THE CAMPAIGN'S GOAL IS TO PLAY A SIGNIFICANT ROLE AND BE A CATALYST FOR REAL CHANGE.
