WE OFFER EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, SUPPORT GROUPS AND PHONE SUPPORT. WE ALSO ADVOCATE FOR BETTER SERVICES, LEGISLATIVE CHANGES, AND INCREASED RESEARCH ON MENTAL ILLNESS. WE WORK TOGETHER WITH NAMI NATIONAL AND NAMI OHIO, OUR STATE AFFILIATE, TO IMPROVE THE OVERALL LIFE AND CARE OF THE MENTALLY ILL IN EVERTY COMMUNITY.

NATIONAL DEC DEFINES DRUG ENDANGERED CHILDREN AS CHILDREN WHO ARE AT RISK OF SUFFERING PHYSICAL OR EMOTIONAL HARM AS A RESULT OF LEGAL AND ILLEGAL DRUG USE, POSSESSION, MANUFACTURING, CULTIVATION, OR DISTRIBUTION. THEY MAY ALSO BE CHILDREN WHOSE CARETAKER'S LEGAL AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCE MISUSE INTERFERES WITH THE CARETAKER'S ABILITY TO PARENT AND PROVIDE A SAFE AND NURTURING ENVIRONMENT.
