THE BAND WAS FORMED IN 2002 AS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE PURPOSE OFDEVELOPING A QUALITY MUSICAL BAND OPEN TO MEN AND WOMEN THAT ARE GAY, LESBIAN,HETEROSEXUAL, AND ALL OTHER SEXUAL ORIENTATIONS. THROUGH ITS MUSICAL PERFORMANCES,THE BAND MAKES A POSITIVE CONTRIBUTION TO THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL,CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL ENRICHMENT FOR ITS MEMBERS AND AUDIENCES.

THE RICHARDSON HIGH SCHOOL AREA BAND CLUB (RABC) IS AN ORGANIZATION OF PARTNERS AND MUSIC PROFESSIONALS DEDICATED TO ROVIDING WHAT THEY JUDGE TO BE THE BEST MUSICAL EDUCATION, COMPETITON EXPERIENCES AND HUMAN GROWTH ENVIRONMENT POSSIBLE FOR THE STUDENTS IN THE RICHARDSON HIGH SCHOOL.
