TRANSPORTATION - INCLUDES HYDE SHUTTLE AND VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION SENIOR TRANSPORTATION USES COMMUNITY VOLUNTEERS AND DRIVERS TO PROVIDE PERSONALIZED, TRANSPORTATION TO MEDICAL AND OTHER ESSENTIAL APPOINTMENTS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY.


NUTRITION PROJECTS (ADDRESSING FOOD SECURITY) - INCLUDES MEALS ON WHEELS AND THE COMMUNITY DINING PROGRAM, AND MOBILE MARKET. MEALS ON WHEELS PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS HOME-DELIVERED MEALS TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS AND DISABLED ADULTS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY. COMMUNITY DINING ENHANCES AND CULTIVATES SENIORS' SOCIAL NETWORKS, IMPROVES THEIR NUTRITION AND SUSTAINS THEIR GENERAL WELL-BEING AND HAPPINESS. MOBILE MARKET PROVIDES GROCERIES TO HOMEBOUND SENIORS IN SEATTLE.


ASSISTANCE SERVICES - INCLUDES PATHWAYS I&A, SENIOR RIGHTS ASSISTANCE, CAREGIVER AND OUTREACH SUPPORT, MINOR HOME REPAIR, AND STATEWIDE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFIT ADVISORS. PATHWAYS I&A TRAINED ADVOCATES GUIDE AGING ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES TO THE INFORMATION AND SERVICES THEY NEED. SENIOR RIGHTS ASSISTANCE PROVIDES CRITICAL LEGAL AND CONSUMER INFORMATION ON TOPICS SUCH AS TENANT/LANDLORD ISSUES, ESTATE PLANNING, POWER OF ATTORNEY AND PROBATE. CAREGIVER OUTREACH AND SUPPORT HELPS CAREGIVERS NAVIGATE AND SECURE THE WIDE ARRAY OF COMMUNITY RESOURCES. MINOR HOME REPAIR ENSURES THAT SENIORS' HOMES ARE ACCESSIBLE AND SAFE, PROVIDING BASIC PLUMBING, CARPENTRY, ELECTRICAL, AND MINOR REPAIRS AND MODIFICATIONS. STATEWIDE HEALTH INSURANCE BENEFITS ADVISORS GIVE FREE, UNBIASED INSURANCE INFORMATION ABOUT PRIVATE AND GOVERNMENT HEALTH PROGRAMS. OUR FIVE AFFILIATED SENIOR CENTERS KEEP OLDER ADULTS CONNECTED TO THE ABOVE ALONG WITH THEIR PEER GROUPS FOR SOCIALIZE OVER A MEAL, IN A CLASS, OR ACTIVITY.
