DC DOX IS A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL DEDICATED TO PROMOTING DOCUMENTARY FILM AS A LEADING ART FORM, CHAMPIONING NEW VOICES AND INNOVATIONS IN NON-FICTION STORYTELLING, AND USING FILM AS A CATALYST TO ENGAGE THE MOST COMPELLING ISSUES OF OUR DAY. THE FIRST EDITION SHOWCASED 60+FILMS AND HOSTED 100+ FILMMAKERS AND FILM INDUSTRY PARTICIPANTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN Q&AS, PANELS, AND NETWORKING. OVER 3,000 AUDIENCE MEMBERS ENJOYED THE FILMS ON THE FESTIVAL'S MAIN SLATE WHICH INCLUDED NUMEROUS WORLD, NORTH AMERICAN, AND US PREMIERES, AND ENCOMPASSED THE MOST HIGHLY ANTICIPATED NON-FICTION TITLES OF THE YEAR IN BOTH FEATURE AND SHORTS.
