IN SUPPORT OF ITS GOAL TO CONDUCT RESEARCH AND EDUCATION,THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGED EXPERTS AND STAKEHOLDERS IN THE FIELD OF CELL- BASED THERAPY, INCLUDING RESEARCHERS FROM ACADEMIC, RESEARCH, AND IN- DUSTRY ORGANIZATIONS, AND THOSE REPRESENTING PATIENTS, TO ASSESS THE CURRENT STATE OF THE FIELD; IDENTIFY BARRIERS TO THE DEVELOPMENT, TRANSLATION, AND MANUFACTURING OF SAFE AND EFFECTIVE THERAPIES; IDENTIFY STRATEGIES AND POLICIES FOR ADDRESSING SUCH BARRIERS; AND COLLABORATE ON ACTIONS TO ADVANCE THE FIELD. 2.
