THE HILLEL FOUNDATION OF NEW ORLEANS, ALSO KNOWN AS TULANE HILLEL, IS A COMMUNITY CENTER ON CAMPUS FOCUSED ON INCLUSIVITY, DEVELOPING STUDENT LEADERSHIP, AND ENCOURAGING QUESTIONING.WE DO THIS THROUGH OUR TULANE JEWISH LEADERS (TJL) PROGRAM, CELEBRATIONS FOR JEWISH HOLIDAYS AND SHABBAT, AND AS A COMMUNITY SPACE FOR ALL UNIVERSITY STUDENTS IN THE GREATER NEW ORLEANS AREA. IN FISCAL YEAR 2020-2021, OVER 5,000 STUDENTS, ALUMNI, FRIENDS, FACULTY, AND PARENTS (BOTH JEWISH AND NON-JEWISH) BENEFITED FROM PROGRAMS WHICH WERE HELD IN-PERSON OR VIRTUALLY DUE TO COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS.
