ALTERMED RESEARCH FOUNDATION SUCCESSFULLY HOSTED THE FOURTH COLORADO INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE CONFERENCE IN ESTES PARK, CO DURING JULY 22-24, 2016. CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION CREDITS WERE PROVIDED TO PHYSICIANS WITH THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE UNIVERSITY OF COLORADO SCHOOL OF MEDICINE (UCSOM). AROUND 300 HEALTH PROFESSIONALS ATTENDED. ABOUT 40% WERE PHYSICIANS AND THE REST WERE MOSTLY ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS. COURSE EVALUATION RESULTS ARE AS FOLLOWS (COMPILED BY THE UCSOM): - 99% OF THE RESPONDENTS SAID THIS CONFERENCE HAD THE BEST SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE AND RIGOR. - 96% SAID THE CONFERENCE WAS VERY GOOD TO EXCELLENT. (7% ABOVE THE CU 2015 AGGREGATE COURSE DATA). - 91% SAID THEY WOULD CHANGE THE WAY THEY PRACTICE. (14% ABOVE THE CU 2015 AGGREGATE COURSE DATA).
